My CDO is acting up

Umpteen years ago, I was a Mary Kay girl. I got my ladder pin. With a star.

That means that I spent a whole ton of money on Mary Kay products and had gifts for friends and family for almost a decade. Just so you know, I don't sell Mary Kay any more, but I do love their product. That is a side issue.

I learned a couple of neat things from selling Mary Kay, and one of those is "The To Do List". I've made a list just about every day for the past 15 years, and it really helps me stay on track.

But I do struggle with my obsessive compulsive tendencies, so much so that if I do something that is NOT on my daily list, I'll write it on the list so that I can scratch it off. CDO. (Like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.) Yep. Mr. Monk has nothing on me. Well, maybe I'm not that bad.

The SITS blog Day #2 assignment is a "List Post". Right up my alley!

Now, I just need to decide which list...

Got it:

Top 5 Reasons I Love Homeschooling in Mexico

#5.) Cooking class.

#4.) Everyone around is helping teach Spanish.

#3.) Geography teaches itself.

#2.) So does science.

#1.) It's home. It's school. 'Nuff said! ;^)

How 'bout you? What helps you stay on track as you go about your day?

Well, You are not alone on the list thing. I sit down on Monday's and make a weekly list of what I have to do. I include how many glasses of water to drink, eating breakfast and making lunch....along with my daily chores, phone calls that need to be made...the whole lot. And like you, I'll put stuff on there just for the fun of scratching it off. It's cool that I now I have a name for this "order of disorder" - CDO - very cool! Thanks for helping out a fellow "sufferer". lol!

I try to make some lists at work and do one sewing project at the time.
As for the rest...I have a monkey mind and hop around the house trying to get it all done...that said I forgot to tape a series last night
