Some of you may have been wondering, "Is that rattlesnake still in their freezer?" The answer is, nope!
Served piping hot with Mexican frijoles and rice, homemade salsa and whole wheat tortillas (to hopefully counteract the hardening of our arteries caused by the deep-fat fried snake), the side-winder was delicious.
And yes, the kids ate it too!!! Here's Jessee enjoying his lunch. Honestly, there wasn't a whole lot of meat on each piece, but it was enough for a taste!
I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "It tastes like chicken." Well, I wouldn't say that rattlesnake tastes like chicken. Rather, it tastes like...rattlesnake!
